Peak District Running & Walking Events

Whilst the Peak District National Park is known for walkers and climbers, it is also a fantastic place for running including trail and fell running. With some of the best off-road running in the entire country with rocky ascents, moorland, craggy ridges and muddy ditches along scenic routes, it's a brilliant place to stretch your legs.

We've put together the walking & running events taking place in the Peak District in 2026 & 2027, from charity walking events such as Cancer Research Big Hike and Samaritans Dawn Walk to the Peak District Trek26 and Ultra Challenge. This page will continue to be updated as more information is made available by event organisers.
