A great evening of entertainment. Starting at 5:30 pm, witness a torch-lit procession which follows an infamous 'Willow Rat' from the main square up to the playing fields with crowds chanting 'Burn the Rat'. The Rat is hauled onto a bonfire and set alight. A spectacular fireworks display follows.
If you find yourself getting peckish, there will be wholesome food from local producers. There's a delicious selection to choose from:
Farmhouse hotdogs, jacket potatoes with chilli or beans, homemade soup and bread. To wash it down choose some festive mulled wine, locally brewed beer, hot drinks. And for afters, there'll be Parkin or bonfire toffees to nibble at!
Entertainment from 5.30pm; Procession starts 6.15pm

The events at Chatsworth are always spectacular and this is no exception. They promise live music, dancing and circus performers, face painting for the small ones, as well as the traditional bonfire and a dazzling firework display. There is always excellent food on offer from hog roasts to jacket potatoes, churros to sweet treats.

Lighting of the bonfire: 6.30pm
Children's firework display: 7.30pm.
Finale firework display: 8.15pm;
Entertainment finishes: 9.30 pm

Buxton Cricket Ground, The Park
Sunday 7th November
An annual firework display held at the Buxton Cricket Ground. Entertain yourself with a fairground, fire performers and clubbercise!
Gates will be open at 4pm, children’s fireworks display (smaller and quieter) at 5.45pm, main spectacular fireworks display at 7.15pm. A smaller and quieter fireworks display will be held at 5:45pm and the main fireworks display at 7:15pm
