Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Manifold Farmhouse boasts ten boutique styled bedrooms most with private bathroom facilities which have been individually decorated and carefully styled. Each bedroom is decorated with stunning wallpapers, plump cushions and luxurious bedding. This character filled building has seven bedrooms with six bathrooms/en suites and a further three bedrooms in the wing with two en-suites/bathrooms interconnected by a glass hallway.
Most bedrooms offer the flexibility of twins or double beds and some have additional bunk beds for children. There are 3 bedrooms located on the ground floor.
Please note on the floor plans the room that is not labelled next to Bedroom 2 is a Plant Room and therefore has no access.
Cooking and Dining
In the wing section of The Farmhouse, there is a stunning designer kitchen which is fully kitted out with a bespoke range of modern units. The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment and mod cons required to cater for large groups of guests. The open plan dining room seats up to 20 guests.
You can choose to totally self cater or we can recommend outside catering companies and private chefs.
Living Space
Manifold Farmhouse has two beautiful sitting rooms with soft seating, cosy sofas and beautiful feature fireplaces. The first lounge in the Farmhouse has a working fireplace, perfect for cosy nights in after a long day exploring the many attractions of the Peak District.
Games Room
A converted barn with exposed beamed rafters furnished with a table tennis table and a table football. To the far end, sink into huge velvety bean bags in a chill out area with a log burner and a wall mounted TV.
The room is a huge space measuring 14m x 6m (46' x 20') and has been designed to offer a multi functional space - all equipment can be folded away and moved to the edge of the room - perfect for yoga or meetings.
There is also a kitchenette for tea and coffee making and wifi.
Garden and Outdoor Space
There is no shortage of outdoor space at the property, to the front and side of the Farmhouse are lawned gardens which lends themselves to garden games with an open vista towards the village of Idridgehay.
To the front of the Farmhouse there is also a patio area with picnic benches and a charcoal BBQ available for use from 01st April through to 31st October, please supply your own charcoal and lighting equipment. This area is the perfect place to enjoy some al fresco dining while soaking up the amazing countryside views.
Access to Manifold Farmhouse is via a narrow lane so therefore unsuitable for a coach to travel on.

This is a shared site with Manifold Barns next door , we kindly ask you to respect the peaceful location and our late night policy of no external noise after 10pm.
Property Information
Our standard arrival and departure times are:
- 4pm on the day of arrival
- By 10am on the day of departure
Please do respect these times as they are in place to allow the housekeeping teams enough time to thoroughly clean the property before and after your stay
- Please remove dirty and high heeled shoes on entry
- Please do not bring candles, tea lights or incense sticks as they are not allowed at the property
- No fireworks or Chinese lanterns are allowed
- No smoking or vaping inside the property. Vaping can trigger the fire alarms
- We ask that any outside socialising be brought inside by 10pm. We kindly ask that neighbours or local residents are not disturbed after this time, for more information please see our Noise and Behaviour Policy
- No glitter please as even the most eco friendly kind is impossible to remove from the soft furnishings and hard wearing floors
- No Karaoke machines of any type

The Surrounding Area
Perched high on a hillside position, Manifold Farmhouse enjoys beautiful views overlooking the Derbyshire valleys. Manifold Farmhouse is part of the rural hamlet of Shottle located in lovely rolling countryside, on the southern borders of the Peak District National Park. Nearby Wirksworth is a small yet charming market town on the edge of the White Peak and is full of character, and a real gateway to the Peak District.
Just a short drive to Carsington Water offering superb water sports and bike hire facilities. The exquisite Chatsworth House, impressive Haddon Hall and Kedleston Hall are within easy reach, as well as Ashbourne with its quaint cobbled stone marketplace, Matlock Bath with its spectacular cable car to the Heights of Abraham , Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and Gulliver's Kingdom. Only 2 miles away, the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site in Cromford is not to be missed.
