Ladybower Fisheries

The Ladybower Reservoir in Bamford, Hope Valley is one of the best UK fly fishing venues. Nestled in the heart of the Peak District at the legendary Dambusters reservoir, Ladybower. It's popular for its easy access location and available free parking and offers a full range of facilities.

It's a great spot for the whole family, even those that don't fish will have a lovely day out by the banks of the reservoir.  They offer a wide range of fishing action from bank fishing, boat fishing, float tube fishing and tuition for those that have never fished before. 


Rudyard Lake and Carsington Reservoirs 

Rudyard, and Carsington make good fisheries with day tickets readily available alongside other watersports and land-based activities. Both sites also have excellent facilities including car parking, walking and cycling routes, cafes and food outlets and child friendly activities and events.


For private fly fishing in the  Haddon estate, you need to book online at The Peacock at Rowsley. For fishing in Chatsworth estate, you need a ticket which will grant you access to 4 miles of double bank fly fishing. 

Barlow Trout & Coarse Fishery in Dronfield, Derbyshire is on the edge of the Derbyshire Peak District. With four trout lakes, four coarse lakes and a freshwater brook, the fishery is situated only four miles from Chesterfield and ten miles from Sheffield City Centre. 

Head to Press Manor Fishing Lakes in Ashover near Chesterfield for professional fly fishing tuition from England International Angler Bernie Maher. He has 3 lakes (Carp, Tout and Mixed) with day, weekend and seasonal tickets available.
